The Rural Services Network has explored the Levelling Up White Paper and produced an overall Rural Lens Review along with specific analysis of the individual chapters.
The Rural Lens reviews explore the policy implications for rural areas, and set out where rural needs and challenges should have been considered.
We have also produced a Rural Lens Review of the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill
These are available below:

The Rural Services Network has been campaigning to ensure that rural areas are not left behind in levelling up and commissioned research into rural areas.
The research commissioned by the RSN shows that were England’s rural communities a distinct region, their need for Levelling Up would be greater than that of any other part of the country.

The Government has set out 12 missions that support key levelling up objectives. These outline the medium-term ambition for the UK Government and act as an anchor for the expectations and plans of the private sector and civil society.
The Rural Services Network has explored the missions and metrics and as part of their membership offer, has created an analysis for each local authority in SPARSE membership of RSN. This shows their position compared to other rural local authorities and the England Average. This enables the council to see their performance for each of the measures that the Government says it will be focusing on.
The analysis has been produced to date for Missions 1, 2 & 10 and you can access your local authority figures below:
