What is the Rural Services Network

The National Champion For Rural Services

The Rural Services Network (RSN) is the National Champion for Rural Services across England, working to ensure that the voices, needs and aspirations of rural, coastal and small-town communities are heard at the highest levels of government.

As a membership organisation representing almost 500 councils, service providers, charities, utilities, housing bodies, health organisations, and private-sector partners, we bring together those committed to delivering and improving services in rural England.

Our purpose is clear: to secure fair, equitable access to services, resources and opportunities for everyone living in rural areas. Through strong evidence, policy influence, collaboration and practical support, we work to shape national debate, strengthen local capacity, and help rural communities thrive.

At the heart of our mission is a belief that every person, in every place, deserves the chance to flourish and that rural communities must never be an afterthought in policy or practice.
