Campaigners warn of threat to countryside

ITV reports on claims from campaigners that plans to build a million new homes between Oxford and Cambridge, nicknamed The Oxford-Cambridge Arc, would destroy an area of countryside roughly the size of Birmingham (67,000 acres).

The CPRE has also said that only 2,200 affordable homes are planned, despite recommendations that 12,000 are needed in that region.
