State of the Countryside Report (CRC 2010) Section2.3 Access to Services
Amongst other information this shows a 22.8% decrease in the number of petrol filling stations located in rural areas between 2000 and 2010 and a 9% decrease in the number of rural pubs and restaurants over the same period.
