Scrutiny Project on Access to Health Services

A piece of research was undertaken over the Summer/Autumn of 2016 to explore rural access to health services with Scrutiny Committees across England.  They were encouraged to question their local CCQ using the same set of questions, to result in comparative data across England on rural access to services.  The results are summarised in the attached document.

An article also appeared in Local Government First in July 2017 written by the RSN focusing on Rural Access to Health.
