Rural funding maps published

The government has published maps to help applicants for grants under the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE).

Based on Local Enterprise Partnerships, the maps outline the areas covered by the RDPE Growth Programme, showing whether projects are in eligible rural areas.

The maps were published by Defra on Thursday (17 August).

The RDPE Growth Programme supports projects that invest in building businesses, creating new jobs and growing the economy in rural areas.

Earlier this year, some £120m was made available through three new national calls for projects.

The calls have been developed in collaboration with Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) and will be open to support food processing, business development and tourism infrastructure projects.

The maps are available here.
