Booking information for the National Rural Conference 2021

BOOKINGS CLOSED

The theme for this year's conference is Levelling Up to Revitalise Rural and it will feature a selection of expert speakers.

Our conference is aimed at Senior Members and Officers from Rural Local Authorities and all other colleagues working for organisations delivering services in rural areas. As an exclusive member benefit, this conference is a members only event.

The event features an Audience with Lord Benyon, the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State Minister for Rural Affairs and Biosecurity.

We will also be featuring

  • Selaine Saxby MP, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Broadband and Digital Communication in our session on Digital Connectivity
  • Chair of the Rural Housing Alliance, Ursula Bennion, CX of Trent and Dove Housing
  • Along with Rural Local Authorities sharing their experiences from Rural Transport projects to Improving Broadband in their area.

There is also a focused session led by the Chief Executive of the Rural Services Network, Graham Biggs sharing ways in which rural areas have been historically underfunded and why we need to change the way that Government invests in projects across the country to ensure that rural areas are not left behind in the levelling up agenda.

Thank you to our kind supporters and sponsors of the event who have enabled us to provide such a wide ranging event of speakers and debate!

The event is supported by NICRE, the National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise.
