RSN Seminar Programme a roaring success!

The Rural Services Network has completed it’s seminar programme for the 2021 year and it was a fantastic success with over 600 delegates attending the 9 sessions throughout the year

The seminar programme moved online at the start of the pandemic and it has gone from strength to strength with high levels of delegates attending events, averaging over 70 per session and attracting Members and Officers from rural Local Authorities across England.  The seminars are also open to members of the Rural Services Partnership within the RSN, and so many Housing Association, Health Trust and business representatives have also attended the seminar sessions.

Featuring 27 expert speakers across 9 seminars, each event has lasted two hours and enabled speakers to share their expertise and respond to questions from delegates, before a wider discussion involving delegates to further explore the issues.

The seminars have focused on the overall themes of the Revitalising Rural campaign to enable discussion and explore these key issues including:

  • Rural Economies
  • Town Centres, High Streets and Village Hubs
  • Rural Business
  • Rural Housing
  • Rural Health and Care
  • Rural Decarbonisation
  • Rural Digital Connectivity
  • Rural Transport
  • Rural Education, Training and Apprenticeships

The RSN has now launched it’s 2022 Seminar Programme and is open for bookings at this link: RSN 2022 Seminar Programme

Seminars are part of the RSN Membership offer and therefore are only available to organisations in membership of the Rural Services Network.

If you have any questions about the 2022 programme or you would like to be involved as a speaker and share your work, please get in touch: events@sparse.gov.uk
