This month’s featured funding opportunities are:

Warm Homes Funds Reopens     

A £150 million fund administered by Affordable Warmth Solutions aimed at local authorities and registered social landlords for low carbon first time central heating solutions.  The aims of the fund are to reduce bills, increase comfort in non-gas fuel poor households, and improve health outcomes for some of the most severe levels of fuel poverty.

Bids to be submitted by midday on 21 January 2022.

Family Hub Transformation Fund

The Department for Education has announced that it is seeking applications for up to £1 million from Local Authorities in England through its Family Hubs Transformation Fund. The fund seeks applications from Local Authorities in England to open Family Hubs in their area by March 2024. The funding is available to Local Authorities that do not currently have a Family Hubs.

Music Grants for Older People

The registered charity, Concertina which makes grants of up to £250 to charitable bodies that provide musical entertainment and related activities for the elderly has announced that the next deadline for applications is the 30th April 2022.

The charity is particular keen to support smaller organisations which might otherwise find it difficult to gain funding. Concertina has made grants to a wide range of charitable organisations nationwide in England and Wales. These include funds to many care homes for the elderly to provide musical entertainment for their residents.
