Economic Inactivity
This analysis in the Economy Insight series looks at the proportion of population aged 16-64 who are classed as economically inactive, and the proportion of those classed as economically inactive who do not want a job. The analysis provides comparison with averages for local authorities of same class and rural classification, and shows how the position has changed over time.
