Work begins on multi million pound project to build affordable housing in Norfolk village
Norfolk Live reports that work has got underway on a £9.7 million project to build 73 new affordable homes near Norwich
The development will be delivered by United Living New Homes’ subsidiary, Partner Construction, on behalf of leading housing provider, Flagship Homes.
Supported by Homes England funding, all the properties will be available for either shared ownership or affordable rent, ensuring genuine affordability for residents and widening the range of housing options for the local community.
Tony Tann, Managing Director with Flagship Homes, emphasised that “the beautiful rural location and open space is to be respected with landscaping plans already in pace, to ensure the scheme is in keeping with the surrounding area.”
The new homes are due to be completed in early 2024.
