Applications will be open from 1 November 2021 to 14 February 2022.

Businesses will need to demonstrate a loss in turnover due to the impact of Covid-19 on their business and also evidence of the commercial viability of their business plan or proposal.

Sectors given priority under this fund will be :

  • Manufacturing, wholesale, construction, logistics, storage, transport
  • Professional, scientific and technical services, information and communication
  • Agriculture, forestry and fishing, environmental

Amanda Gray, owner of Raleigh Hall Industrial Park in Eccleshall, said:

“Many of our rural firms in manufacturing, wholesale, professional services were unable to access some of the mandatory government grants however they too had suffered as a consequence of their customer base being mandated to close or by delays in the supply chain.

“As they shift from response to recovery and rebuild their business models it’s important to support their growth paths and this funding made available by Stafford Borough Council will provide much needed financial support.”
