Protect Your Farm, Protect Yourself

Malvern Hills District Council and Wychavon District Council are hosting the upcoming ‘Protect Your Farm, Protect Yourself’ Event, being held at Three Counties Showground on Thursday 22 November, 4-7pm.

This free event will provide advice to the rural business and farming community from across Rural South Worcestershire and surrounding areas on how they can protect their property, look after their well-being and gain financial advice.

This is an excellent opportunity to bring partners and organisations together to raise awareness of key issues within this community and how they are being addressed including:

Rural Crime – Working with West Mercia Police to engage with rural communities and promote crime reduction

Fatal and serious injuries – Raising awareness of agricultural health and safety and providing support and advice

Public Health – Highlighting the risk of suicide for agricultural workers and providing tools and resources to support mental health

There will also be an opportunity to access financial advice tailored to our farming community.

Organisations will be able to showcase their services on designated market stalls and we will be holding a live Q&A session with a specially selected panel. This is also a great opportunity for networking with other key organisations.
