New Toolkit Empowers Rural Communities To Take Climate Action

Are you interested in tackling the climate crisis and wondering how you can take meaningful action with your local community?

Last week saw the launch of The Rural Climathon Toolkit by the Countryside and Community Research Institute (CCRI). The Toolkit is a practical step-by-step guide to running your own Rural Climathon – a community-led event that brings local people together to envision a climate-resilient future and ignite action on local climate challenges.

This Toolkit is designed to give you the tools, structure, and inspiration to get started and host your own Rural Climathon within your community.

Successful events have already taken place in the South West and North East of England (read all about them in the Toolkit), and we’re excited to see more communities across the country take up the torch.
