Four Days, Hundreds Of Voices, Championing Rural Futures

This year's National Rural Conference has drawn to a close after four days of debate, discussion and learning focused on the future of rural communities.

Over the course of the week, 743 delegates actively took part, contributing to an impressive 1,419 hours of rural policy learning and hearing from 38 expert speakers. Sessions covered the breadth of rural policy and service delivery from fair funding, housing and connectivity through to net zero, data, health and transport.

The conference shone a light on the persistent inequalities faced by rural communities, but also showcased the innovation, resilience and ambition that are driving positive change. Across every session, speakers and delegates reinforced the importance of fair funding, long-term investment, and rural-proofed policies that reflect the realities of rural life.

A huge thank you to all our speakers, sponsors and delegates for making this year’s conference such a success.

The conversations do not end here, together we will continue to champion the rural voice and press for stronger, fairer futures for rural communities.
