Cornwall And Isles Of Scilly Launch Marine Nature Recovery Framework Consultation

The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Marine Nature Recovery Framework (MNRF) is now open for public consultation.

The Framework sets out a shared vision for restoring and protecting marine and coastal environments in the region. It highlights priority habitats and species, maps opportunities for nature recovery, and outlines actions to support sustainable marine management. The MNRF sits alongside the statutory Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Nature Recovery Strategy, while also contributing to national goals such as the target to have 30% of land, rivers, and seas well managed for nature by 2030.

Consultation details:

Opens: Thursday 28th August 2025

Closes: Friday 10th October 2025
