Next week, communities across the UK will come together for Community Transport Week (CTWeek25), a nationwide celebration of the extraordinary role community transport plays in helping people stay connected.
Running from 13–17 October, this year’s theme “More Than a Minibus” shines a spotlight on the people behind the journeys, the volunteer drivers, coordinators and passengers whose dedication and stories show that community transport is about far more than vehicles. From mopeds and cars to bikes and minibuses, the sector supports independence, builds friendships, and helps communities thrive.

The Community Transport Association is encouraging Community Transport Organisations (CTOs) to open their doors to local politicians during CTWeek25, giving them a first-hand look at the impact your services have. A full toolkit is available, including:
You can also celebrate in whatever way works best for your community, from hosting an appreciation event, to sharing stories online using #CTWeek25.
