1. Rural economic profiling and capacity service
   We will provide targeted digest of the key characteristics of rural districts at super output level from published data sources. It will include: economic wealth, unemployment and access to services. It is intended to dovetail with the performance profiling work as contextual background to give the overall positions. It will be of considerable assistance to authorities as they tackle the new requirement for an Economic Assessment.
   
   
2. Free consultation on rural issues
   We engage a rural consultancy to answer your rural queries as they arise. He will answer your queries and provide you with direct information. Again this we feel is a most important service giving assistance, signposting and saving you time (and money). It is a free service funded through the membership subscriptions.
   
   
3. Early bird digests on rural legislation
   Again we seek to assist your hard pressed officer team by providing a first outline on Government legislation, white papers and consultation documents as they are issued. We seek, within days of announcement, to send your rural team and your members a synopsis of relevant documentation.
