performanceprofiling

Performance profiling

We have over the past 3 years developed a performance service that we know many of our SPARSE Rural district members find to be of considerable value. We propose expanding this service every year and it will now be extended to Significant Rural authorities. Comparison with other significant Rural Authorities will give you accurate service comparison, allowing you to compare and evaluate services. The service will cover Direction of Travel and Value for Money analysis. Information exchange is key in seeking to improve individual services.

Our profile which covers your 'true peers' is illustrative and concise and spans performance, cost and public opinion. We feel it is a lot stronger than a lot of the "named" brands which can be costly, more generalised and provide less tailored information.

Strategic performance issues

We have opened up a dialogue with the Audit Commission and are working with them to appreciate differentials for predominantly rural authorities. We seek to discuss strategic issues with them We will seek information and comparative data from members by questionnaires on rural performance and finance issues.
