     Interesting fact: Cheddar Cheese was discovered 800 years ago by accident. A milk maid allowed a pail of milk to go bad whilst being stored in the caves at Cheddar and the result was the world famous cheese. The constant temperature of 7 degrees was perfect for the cheddar to mature

      A local insight

      The RSN is asking Councils to give a local rural perspective through answers to the two questions set out below. This process is ongoing, but we hope to be given first replies for this year by the end of 2011. The boxes below will be completed as we hear back from authorities.
