East Lindsey District Council launched the Rural Development Grant to help support rural businesses in the district.
The grant will support projects that encourage investment into rural areas, leading to new employment opportunities and increase new rural businesses.
It aims to help expand the rural visitor economy through extending the season, increasing numbers of visitors and developing new visitor attractions.
The local authority helps to increase and improve the level of skills in the local economy to help drive quality and competitiveness.
The fund can support individual projects up to 75% of project costs, to the maximum grant of £50,000 in any one year.
There is potential to increase the grant level for exceptional proposals, but particularly where there is a collaborative project.
