DEFRA has announced six priority work areas in relation to rural issues.
These are:
* Rural Services
* Rural Economy
* Fuel Poverty
* Housing
* Broadband
* Uplands
Defra's anticipated work in relation to these areas will be detailed in their Rural Policy Statement to be published by the end of July.
The Rural Services Network will therefore be opening special pages of this web site allowing full consideration of these six current work areas during the summer months.
